DNM Denim is a high-quality denim fabric manufacturer with its production facility located in Damietta, Egypt.
As a fully integrated company, DNM manages all stages of the production process in-house—from cotton to yarn, and from yarn to fabric. This industrial model enables the company to maintain maximum control over quality, continuity, and efficiency.

To support this vision and strengthen its competitiveness in international markets, we at Marzoli partnered with DNM as a technology provider, contributing to the development of a high-performance spinning plant designed to ensure consistent quality, high productivity, and energy efficiency.

The challenge

As part of the Eroğlu Holding, DNM shares an industrial culture rooted in quality, efficiency, and reliability. In a highly competitive denim market, the company identified yarn quality as a key strategic factor to strengthen its brand image and ensure full customer satisfaction within the denim sector.

The main challenge was therefore to:

maintain extremely high and consistent quality standards;
ensure production efficiency at high volumes;
support every investment decision with a positive impact on final product quality.

The solution

To turn yarn quality into a true competitive advantage, together with DNM we designed a complete spinning plant built around the company’s specific production requirements and the highest standards demanded by the denim sector. The goal was not simply to install new machines, but to deliver a solid, reliable industrial solution focused on long-term performance continuity.

In 2011, Marzoli therefore installed a high-performance spinning plant at DNM, designed to ensure consistent quality, high productivity, and energy efficiency. The project included the supply of:

3 complete blowroom lines,
38 cards,
24 draw frames, including 12 with autolevelling technology,
12 roving frames with automatic doffing,
30 ring spinning frames with 1,200 spindles each.

The advantages of the solution

The results

Thanks to the installation of the Marzoli spinning plant, DNM is now able to produce up to 40 tons per day of high-quality yarn, with counts Ne 10 and Ne 12, while maintaining excellent production efficiency levels.

Marzoli machines ensure:

high yarn quality;
excellent IPI values;
optimized energy consumption (kW/kg of yarn);
long-term process stability and reliability.

The Marzoli plant not only ensured high daily yarn output, but also contributed to improving downstream processes such as weaving and finishing, reducing micro-stoppages, defects, and inefficiencies in subsequent fabric processing.
